24-Hour Crisis Line

Support. Information. Advocacy. Anytime.

If you or someone you love has been impacted by crime, you do not have to face it alone. Our 24-Hour Crisis Line is available anytime—day or night—to provide confidential support, information, and connection to services.

Whether the crime happened moments ago or years ago, help is available.

What You Can Expect When You Call

When you contact our crisis line, you will speak with a trained victim advocate who understands the challenges crime victims face. Advocates listen without judgment and work with you to identify your needs and options.

Our advocates can:

  • Provide immediate emotional support

  • Explain victims’ rights in Alabama

  • Help you understand what to expect in the criminal justice process

  • Connect you to advocacy, court accompaniment, and parole or pardon support

  • Offer referrals for counseling, shelter, compensation, and other resources

  • Assist family members and concerned friends

You are in control of the conversation. You decide what to share and what kind of support you want.
