The Justice Bridge Fund exists to remove financial barriers that prevent crime victims and witnesses from fully participating in the criminal justice process.
By helping meet immediate practical needs, such as travel, lodging, meals, parking, mileage, and, when necessary, appropriate clothing for victims and witnesses appearing in court the Justice Bridge Fund empowers victims to remain engaged in the judicial process. This program reduces additional trauma and demonstrates that Alabama's criminal justice community stands beside those impacted by crime from the very beginning of their journey toward healing.
